Does Strength Always Come from Structure? (21 views)

Hi everyone,

I’ve been thinking about how structure plays a key role in building strength — not just in materials and construction, but in people too. I recently started a fitness program at The Olympus Projects in Manchester, where they design group training based on structured 8–12 week blocks. The workouts are themed after Greek mythology — like Herculean Trials — and focus on progression, technique, and long-term results.

It reminded me a lot of how in engineering or metalwork, durability comes from smart planning and layering — not just brute force.

Curious to know: whether in training, work, or life — do you think strength is more about how something’s built or what it's made of?

Would love to hear your perspectives.

Not always. Strength often comes from structure because it provides support but not always as sometimes flexibility and the quality of material is also important.
